Shower & tile regrouting
Professional shower regrouting across Toronto and the GTA
Removing deteriorated grout and installing new material can refresh the room and address cracks, gaps, and vulnerable wet areas without replacing the entire tiled surface.
Why regrout?
Old grout can become more than a cosmetic issue
Grout fills and seals the spaces between tiles. Regrouting removes deteriorated filler and installs new material.
Over time, grout can discolour, crack, loosen, or disappear. Cracked and missing grout can contribute to leaks and water damage, while mould and mildew may develop beneath damaged tiled areas. Regrouting is generally more cost-effective than removing the entire floor or wall and installing new tile.
The result can make a bathroom or kitchen look cleaner and fresher while protecting the existing tile installation.
Tigro’s grout choice
Epoxy grout for wet and high-traffic areas
Tigro uses epoxy grout for grouting and regrouting in wet and demanding areas.
Traditional grout uses a cement-based mix. It is porous, absorbs water, can stain, and generally requires sealing. Epoxy grout combines epoxy resins with filler powder. It is non-porous, highly resistant to water and stains, and does not need to be sealed.
- Suitable for showers, pools, steam rooms, splashbacks, and floors
- Resistant to shrinking, cracking, staining, and discolouration
- Designed for durable grout joints in demanding locations
